I’m based in Boise, Idaho, but my love for storytelling takes me all over the Pacific Northwest and beyond. From breathtaking mountain elopements to cozy in-home maternity sessions, my goal is to create images that feel warm, authentic, and truly you.
My Journey into Photography
Photography has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. At just 16 years old, I had the opportunity to intern with a photographer, which gave me my first hands-on experience in the industry. Shortly after, I inherited my late uncle’s digital and film camera collection—he was a photographer himself, and exploring his cameras sparked something in me. I was fascinated by the art of photography and decided to pursue it further in college, where I learned to develop my own film in a dark lab, using the very cameras my uncle once owned.
Then, I photographed my first wedding—and that’s when I knew. There’s something magical about documenting real, unscripted moments—happy tears, belly laughs, and everything in between. Over the years, I’ve honed my craft, blending editorial storytelling with a lifestyle approach to create images that are both timeless and deeply emotional.
What Inspires My Work
I find inspiration in human connection, natural light, and the little in-between moments that make a love story unique. My photography style is a mix of intimate and candid moments, often emphasizing soft, natural lighting and serene settings. But I also love bringing in a fun flash for an upbeat, editorial feel when the moment calls for it. My goal is to create a space where you can be yourselves—whether that means whispering sweet nothings to each other in the golden hour glow or hitting the dance floor with your crew.
